Im am in Florida. I have a charge from 2011-Grand Theft-Written as $1,150 deposit for an apartment that I then did not rent to the person. I have no prior Florida convictions.. Curious what the options of outcome are

Worst case scenario - 5 years in prison. That's VERY unlikely. Best case scenario: pay the check, and State will either drop the case or offer a diversion program. A diversion program is always good, because if you complete it, the charge will be dropped!
