My grandson who is a black 17 was arrested 18 days ago on 11 charges 7 attempted murder 2 kidnapping 1 possession of weapon 1 armed robbery. The date of this crime happened he was at work and my husband and I picked him up. The crime at 11:30 pm and 12:15am and we pick him up at 11:20pm and the crime happen 33 miles from where we live. He was out by a former classmate he has not seen in 2 years. We cannot afford a lawyer we have a PD who is overworked. What to do?

You let the public defender handle the case if you cannot afford private counsel.
