hair follicle for a dui ticket?

More details to this question:
i was pulled over for a dwi (not liqour but drugs) had nothing on me and was only on what my doctors perscriptoins. they did a breathalizer and i passed. they made me go to the hospital and do a blood test and the police wont release the lab reports to me. i believe i heard the police say something about a hair follicle? i dont remember them doing it in the hospital? maybe i was asleep?? is it legal for them to do a hair follicle? also dont they need your consent? In the state of NJ

the prosecutor must provide your attorney with the lab reports as part of discovery. was there an accident ? what caused the police to take you to the hospital ? the key is that the lab report match your prescription drugs. please let us know if we can help. ed dimon, esq.
