My son is being held for a charge he did not do. He was at work at the time of the arrest and we have proof. Can they hold him till his court date or should they offer bail? He is not a felon, this is his second time being arrested. The first time was for not appearing in court for a traffic violation.

Hi, Your son should file a petition for bond. He can also ask for bond at the 1st court date. Karen Dove Barr
