If you plead guilty paid a fine (did not get deferred disposition), it will remain on your record there is nothing you can do to get it off.

You can't get a shoplifting conviction off your record. Only certain types of misdemeanors can be expunged (removed) from your criminal record, and shoplifting does not qualify.
