More details to this question:
I made a police report on my ex boyfriend over a fight we had. He is being charge with attempted murder, child in dangerment, domestic violance, and a couple more. I believe he has 4 or 5 felonies and 1 misdemeanor. I want him to be free but far away from me and my daughter.

That decision is up to the DA at this time. It sounds like a very serious case and they are unlikely to dismiss charges easily.
