QUESTION

How can I force payment on a judgement?

Asked on Nov 14th, 2013 on Criminal Law - Oklahoma
More details to this question:
I sold a car to a friend with the agreement of making payments. She stopped paying months in and still owes $3500. Filed in small claims. Received judgement. Didn't get any payments. Had another hearing for payments. Ordered to make small payments. Months later no payment so I filed more court papers. Is there something else I can do or is she just going to keep making me bring her to court while not making payments?

If she is working you can have the court garnish her wages. If she has a bank account you can have the court garnish it.

You can try garnishing wages or see if a collections agency will take the judgment.

You have a judgment. Collect it. Garnishment comes to mind.
