How can I get a felony stealing off my record?

More details to this question:
I served some time in the department of corrections and served remainder on parole violation free. I can't get a job due to charge.

An experienced lawyer can get that single conviction expunged IF you have no other convictions (felony or misdemeanor). If there are others, you're out of luck. It should cost you anywhere from $500 to $1200 to accomplish this. Good luck!

It's called an "EXPUNGEMENT." It'll cost around $500-750. You have to have a CLEAN RECORD for at least five (5) years with NO OTHER charges listed.

There is no expungement for misdemeanors or felonies in California!!!!

I do not know where you live, but in Rhode Island, you can apply for expungement of a felony after ten years have passed since the end of your sentence and you have no other violations on your record.

In Missouri, a felony stealing conviction can not be expunged.

You can file for an expungment if it you minor misdeamors as a juvenile after six years.
