QUESTION

How can I get a misdemeanor domestic expunged?

Asked on Apr 15th, 2014 on Expungements - Michigan
More details to this question:
20 years ago, I was charged with a disorderly conduct. I plead no contest. When the district attorney was addressing the court, they said they wanted to attach a domestic violence to the charge. I did not want to agree but my attorney said don't worry about it. Now I went to purchase a hunting gun and was denied. This is the only charge I have had and I would like to know if it is possible to have the DV charge expunged so I can purchase a firearm.
