How can I get a record sealed for employment?

More details to this question:
I am trying to obtain a job in the Maryland area and I had a drug conviction 25 years back in 1987. I did a bid of 1 1/2 to 3 and have been clean ever since.

It's not the "bid" that's important but the felony conviction. There is no expungement in NY State.
