Asked on Jan 21st, 2014 on Expungements - Missouri
More details to this question:
I'm trying to get my record expunged. I been out of prison for 11 years with a clean record and no trouble since I've been out. Just have an extended record and it's hard to find a job because of it.
There are motions you can file to dismiss(if you were convicted of a felony) or to reduce it to a misdemeanor and expunge it. See Penal Code 1203.4 and 17(b).
In Missouri, only a few types of felonies and misdemeanors can be expunged under certain conditions. You should consult a lawyer to find out if your convictions qualify for expungement.
