QUESTION

How can I get my felony expunged or my record sealed?

Asked on Dec 31st, 2012 on Expungements - Texas
More details to this question:
When I was in my early 20's, I picked up a felony and was placed on probation. Once I satisfied my terms, the record was expunged (from my knowledge). In 2001 I obtained another felony and was discharged in 2007. From the info I gathered recently, I'm thinking my first felony was placed under a HEIDI law. If so will I be able to get the second one expunged? If not can you provide me with information on how to get it sealed?

If it was a Texas case, you may be able to seal your cases if your successfully completed deferred adjudication probation. (You could not have the case expunged if you received a deferred or any other type of probation - only cases that resulted in dismissals and not guilt verdicts can be expunged.)
