QUESTION

How can I sue these people for slandering my name?

Asked on Aug 11th, 2013 on Criminal Law - South Carolina
More details to this question:
My child's mother and her husband and their mother are going around town slandering my name saying I molested my child. There was an investigation but itโ€™s over. It was proven I was not at fault for molestation. Now her family and their friends are trying to beat me up every day and do bodily harm towards me. They have a hit out on me. I have all my paper work with the doctor and information.

The best way is to retain an attorney to represent you. However, it will help you find an attorney if you can show that these people own rel estate of have some wealth. Else, it will be difficult to collect a judgment and which will make it difficult for the attorney to get paid.

Call the police. Get a restraining order against them. Get a lawyer and sue them for slander.

You hire a lawyer and pay him to sue the folks. When the suit is filed they will probably straighten up and fly right.
