How do I avoid jailtime for credit card fraud?

More details to this question:
I am going to be charged with cc fraud,forgery,receiving stolen property, and sure anything else they can to make me an example. The amount doesn't exceed 150 and I am a first time offender. I have no criminal record. How do I avoid a costly mistake and jail time?

Have a good lawyer. First time offender with $150 theft should not result in jail time. Unless there are other aggravating factors involved.
