QUESTION

How do I drop a no contact/protection order?

Asked on Mar 27th, 2017 on Criminal Law - Indiana
More details to this question:
My husband was charged with domestic battery against my wishes. I told them I did not want to press charges and they told me I couldn't do anything about it because the state had already picked up the case. I went to the courthouse and file the paper to drop the no contact/protection order but they said that the judge and prosecutor will most likely deny it. What can I do to drop all of this?
