The best way to find an attorney is through a referral from a friend or acquaintance who knows the reputation of the attorney or has used him/her in the past. Your other option is to check the yellow pages, google, attorney.com, etc. Your will need to meet with the attorney as soon as possible to handle your case as time seems to be of the essence.

You should contact a local attorney immediately. There are several different kinds of protection orders to which you might be referring. A local attorney could possibly meet with you and discuss any documents you have with you to determine whether or not he/she could represent you in this matter.
