How do I get a restraining order dropped on my husband?

how do i get a restraining order dropped that i didn't do? i think the court or police did it. i didnt even write a summary on what happen. the police did on what i told him and before it was persue i tried to drop it but the police wouldnt let me. what can i do. he just put his hand around my neck and scratch it.
