How do i get my truck back when it was used illegal without my knowledge

More details to this question:
I let someone use my truck as I was going to sell it to them they drove it for a couple weeks but then would not bring it back until I threatened to file charges, I get it back then three weeks later police come take it. Saying she sold to a ci. She has not been arrested but they took my truck.

You need to contact the police department to determine if it is being kept for evidence or have they instituted a forfeiture proceeding against it. If it is being held as evidence, they you can not get it back until the case is concluded. If they have instituted a forfeiture proceeding against it, then you need to contact the Department of Safety to find out how to get your truck back.
