QUESTION

How do I go about dealing with this theft charge?

Asked on Feb 13th, 2016 on Criminal Law - Michigan
More details to this question:
I'm 18. While I was 17, I got into some trouble for theft at a store. I went to jail, and was bonded out the next day. The charge was under $1,000. It was a misdemeanor. I showed up to my first court date, but while waiting to see the judge, a lady came out and told me the court date had been moved. I notified my mom, who was living out of state, and she made my son and I move with her and my family and I missed the court date. I was moved for 7 months, and now moving back home and I want to take care of this. I am 8 months pregnant. When I turn myself in, how long will I be in jail? What should I expect?
