how does a person fight back from probation violation

had probation transferred from one county to another and was told it would take 2 weeks for transfer so i went on trip outta state. fines was paid except for probation fees which was going to be paid until i learned they called me in for drug test after i left town and couldn't made it back within the time given, so he violated me..

Go to court and tell the judge what happened.
