How does one get a theft charge off his record?

More details to this question:
One month ago, I stole more than $50 worth of stuff. It was stupid. My probation ends the 25 of December. Is there anything I can do? This was in Desoto, Texas.

If you received deferred adjudication probation, and if you successfully complete it, you can petition judge for Order of Non-Disclosure. If granted, the case is sealed from private enterprise, but not law enforcement, state licensing agencies, and a few other exceptions.
