QUESTION

How does the drug testing work in a conditional discharge?

Asked on Sep 25th, 2013 on Drug Crimes - South Carolina
More details to this question:
I am a resident in south carolina and i was recently charged with a simple possession of marijuana and given a conditional discharge. The court said they were going to give me 3 random drug tests within 6 months of my court date. They said I could attend the college away from them and not have to travel back home to take drug tests. They said something about mailing a notice slip, but I cant quite remember the specifics. How does this work?? Do I mail them a sample of my urine or do I have to go to a local lab to get tested there?

It seems like you have a good basic understanding of the conditions of your conditional discharge.  If you have some questions about the mechanics of how to get it done, you should contact the court or prosecutor to find out how exactly to go about complying with the court.
