QUESTION
How is the best to handle this without being arrested or suffer consequences of when the warrant was issued seven months earlier and just finding out?

More details to this question:
I was released from jail in December with no charges. I am now finding out there is a warrant on me for what I was arrested for to begin with but filed after I was released from jail.

Hire counsel if you do not already have counsel. Discuss your best route with counsel. If it is not a warrant on a new matter or for failure to appear, or even if it is, it can be dealt with through counsel.
