How is this fair and what can I do to get mine reduced?

More details to this question:
Two friends and I were arrested for the same crime. They both receive misdameanors while Iโ€™m charged with a felony.

Difficult to answer without knowing all the facts, but the state attorney decides what to charge everyone with.

These situations are common and they are fact specific. This means that the State thinks there is enough to charge you with a felony and the others just with misdemeanors so your attorney will have to read the reports and then talk with you about details and then see if they have a case. Get a good experience attorney that will give you straight answers and not just answers that you may want to hear.

Sadly, fair is not the issue. It is common to have various deals to encourage other to testify against the prime target which appears to potentially be you. Get a very good attorney.
