How long can DWI stay on my record?

More details to this question:
I just got a driving while intoxicated (DWI) about two months ago. I also have a DWI 15 years ago. Can they use that against me?

In California 10 years is the limit on priors.

In Michigan DWI or DUI remain on your record for life.

Unfortunately, yes. In MIchigan 3 in your lifetime is a felony. With that kind of time gap, your attorney can probably negotiate a non enhancement of the first offense penalties
