How long do I have to hold the restraining order?

More details to this question:
I am married and have a restraining order against my husband..this happen June of 2010. He never picked up his things. How long by law(Louisiana) do I have to hold his things. (by the way he has been served with divorce papers. Please let me know, law enforcement has not helped at all.
