My boyfriend and I was living with my father who is on parole we paid rent to live in the basement apt. His parole officer come to do a home visit and went down stairs and found his now prescribed medication in his wallet along with paraphernalia and charged us both now his probation officer after almost a month and a half decided to violate him on the matter.?
The probation officer has the discretion to file a probation violation warrant on what timeline they want. However, it has to be filed before the probation is over.
