The timeline for filing for and getting an expungement granted depends on the court in which you have to file.  I have seen courts set the expungement hearing with 1 week of filing and I've also waited over 7 months for a court to set the hearing.  The cost to file the petition to expunge also depends entirely on the court.  But as rule of thumb, the filing fee is between $50 and $150.   Simon W.
