QUESTION

How long must I wait before applying to expunge my criminal record?

Asked on Sep 27th, 2018 on Expungements - Florida
More details to this question:
My criminal background consists of 2 felony offenses of driving while license was suspended (adjudication withheld on one). It contains one charge of an aggravated battery deadly weapon great bodily harm and one possession of a controlled substance that I was found guilty of on 1/3/2017 (best interest plea). I was released from prison on 6/18/2017. I'm about to graduate college in December, yet facing extreme difficulty in finding jobs in the field I specialize in. How long must I wait before applying for my record to be expunged or for it to be sealed through FDLE? I intend to hire a lawyer for the process due to possible complexities. Thank you and God bless.
