More details to this question:
I was driving to pick my kids up from day care and got pulled over because the cop said I didn't have my lights on. I gave him my permit and insurance card. He ended up giving me a citation for no license. I went online to pay the citation and it was only $130, but says level: misdemeanor. Will this stay on my record forever?
Yeah. If you simply pay the ticket it will go on your driving record and remain there indefinitely. Instead, get help from a lawyer. Your goal should be to keep the offense off of your record.
