How long would it take to get a charge dropped or a plea to be given?

More details to this question:
My fiancé was arrested for perjury in an official setting. His phone and car was taken without a warrant after a supeona. My fiancé was bailed out $250 bond. This is in the state of Florida. How likely is it to get the charges dropped. And is a plea deal a smart move to go. What could guarentee no jail time?
