QUESTION

How much time in jail or prison am I facing for another DWI?

Asked on Jan 04th, 2013 on DUI/DWI - Wisconsin
More details to this question:
I have had three convictions of DWI in 1999, 2000 and 2004. I have completed everything and had an appointment to start getting my licence back December 10, 2012. I got another DWI on November 23 2012. I refused to blow. I also wrecked my car but nobody else was involved. I didnโ€™t get any charges for that though.

You're probably looking at a felony this time. You better hire a DUI specialist, or else you can probably say hello to state prison.

Obviously your charge is a felony as it only takes two prior DWI's to make the 3rd a felony.? What may happen depends on what happened particularly on the 2004 case, and on the underlying facts of this one.? The wreck is not good at all. You need to hire?a lawyer.

Looks like the other charges are past 7 years so in the State of WA they wouldn't count as prior offenses to this DUI you are facing now.
