Was in a parked car and cops gave me three tickets possession of CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of under 50 grams of marijuana it's my first time ever getting in trouble. They said most likely two charges will be dropped and I'll only be charged with one but what does that mean will it be on my record forever? Is there any way to get off I've heard of something called expungement but I'm very confused and worried please provide me with more clarity to this whole situation.

i would need to see the precise three charges. why were you charged with poss of cds and possession of marijuana ? depending upon the nature of the three charfges, you may qualify for a 'conditional discharge'. this would keep the charges off your record. please let me konw if we can help. ed dimon, esq. 732-797-1600
