More details to this question:
My friend who is 18 years old, still in high school is charged first degree robbery and his bail is $165,000. His friend is 17 year old and they had a bb gun. They made arrangements to meet a teen at a park to trade shoes and when they met, they pulled out a bb gun and demanded the shoes and his cellphone. They went their separate ways. The police found the 17 year old thru Facebook messages and got back the shoes and cellphone back from him. But then later my friend was arrested too.

They will be tried as adults. The attorney can likely get the charge dropped to 2nd Degree, but because a weapon was used it is unlikely to be reduced further. The individual's record will determine how much jail time he will get.
