Ask around your friends, co-workers and family to see if they have someone whose work for them has been effective. You could try online at Avvo. com or elsewhere. Good Luck.

Ask yourself 3 things: 1) Who is the one actually representing you? If the lawyer going to disappear after cashing your check only to pass your case off to someone else? 2) Does this lawyer specialize in DUI, or takes all kinds of different cases? 3) Is the initial fee just to lure you in, with all kinds of hidden fees coming at you later if you don't simply plead guilty?

Do research about DUI. Pick the attorney who knows the case, seems the most confident and who you feel you could work with best.

Was anyone seriously hurt? If so, then this is a felony vehicular assault DUI. If just property damage or minor injuries, then stays misdemeanor.
