How to get class c felony dismissed?

My husband went riding around with his friend and they had meth under the seat it wasnt much but the police asked to search the car and they both agreed and now his friend wont tell the truth she keeps changing storys he didnt know anything about it till the police found it and het went to court friday and they said hes looking to 3 to 8 years in prison. She didnt go in the court room most time spending time out in the hall with her lawyer and shes blaming all her fault on my husband is there anyway he can get it dismissed? If shes not owning up to it?
