More details to this question:
I haven''t murdered anyone and it was a cousin who called the police and made the report. Me,My wife and cousin had been drinking coming from my brothers house 2 years ago during thanksgiving. And I told my wife to pull over so that I can drive back home to my mom, and my cousin got mad an started hitting me while I was driving so I pulled over and shoved her and told them both to get out the car. My cousin lied to the police and pressed charges against me. I went to Jail for 9 months. Now I can''t get a apartment because of the charge.
You didn't say whether you were convicted. Under Virginia law if you are found guilty of an offense, you cannot have that matter expunged. Please see: http://leg1.state.va.us/cgi-bin/legp504.exe?000+cod+19.2-392.2. You can apply for a pardon if eligible: http://www.commonwealth.virginia.gov/JudicialSystem/Clemency/clemency.cfm.
