I got a DWI in another state so what should I do?

More details to this question:
I got pulled over and arrested for driving while intoxicated while I was travelling through Kentucky. I'm from Chicago. How do I handle this? Will Illinois know that I got this DWI??

Illinois won't necessarily know, burden is on the State to do their homework and find out.
A Kentucky DUI if discovered would constitute a prior DUI conviction in Illinois, unless you can show that the Kentucky DUI law is sufficiently different from the Illinois law.
