I had got a DUI back in 1987 in NJ

More details to this question:
So I moved back to VA and in 2008 I was giving a licensed. Now VA is telling me I need to take care of the DUI in NJ or my licensed i will be uneligible to drive

check into it, you probably didnt complete the dui, like classes, or costs or fines...
