My brother borrowed money from what we thought was a friend. Guess he's really a loan shark. He borrowed $3000 in order for his car not to be taken away. He is charging him $90 per week in "juice", which doesn't even come off the balance. This took place at the beginning of May, 2014. He has been paying this for 6 months and still has a $3k balance. What can he do??

i did answer this question. your brother needs to hire an attorney to negotiate a settlement. the police will not take action. ed dimon
