More details to this question:
hello sir, I am thanking you for the online help. recently,i got a problem. i am an internanational student came here to pursue my masters.a few days back during my spring break one of my cousin's friend asked me to help him out because all of his employees went on a vacation.so, i went to help him for one day and on that day the TABC did a sting and caught me selling a beer to minor. but actually i have the video footage that is showing that i checked the minor ID.i showed it to the prosecutor and she got convinced about it and she told me i am going to give you a small amount of fine like $200 and said they are going to dismiss the case on 26th of this month.now , i am planning to go back to my country on this coming December like a vacation. when i am going to come back from the vacation, is there going to be any problem to me because of this TABC ticket. or otherwise am i need to get expunge this ticket record before i go on vacation?. please help me thank you

You need to do two things: (1) You need to have the citation and all associated records expunged. First, we would need to ensure the ticket was actually dismissed. If it was (pursuant a legal vehicle called a "deferred disposition") then you are eligible to have it expunged. BUT: (2) You need to also meet and consult with an immgration lawyer. I handle criminal cases (which includes petititons to expunge records). We have an immigration attorney in our office. But, there are other qualified attorneys all over the state. I doubt you would be subject to removal for a dismissed Class C citation. However, you want to be sure that you will not have any problems upon trying to return to the US. You will want to find out the answer to that question before you leave the country.  Hope that helps! Rick
