More details to this question:
I just happened to go visit a friend in the building, apparently an altercation happened on the floor and when the cops ask me to call the friend of mine, i tried to explain i have been calling all this time and there was no answer, they then arrested me, took my prints at the precent and gave me a DAT.

It is certainly possible for a DAT to get resolved in a way that protects your future. Keep in mind that trespassing is a misdemeanor and needs to be treated seriously.
