i was told and have text msgs of someone that recorded me without my knowledge and shared the info with my soon to be ex husband. How do I prove this?

My neighbor text me and asked me to come over and talk 2 days after my husband was served the 50B. I was suspicious that I was being recorded but didn’t ask till the 2nd time she asked me to come over. My husband and I have a daughter and are now on good terms so that we can coparent. My husband Told me that the neighbor had recorded me those 2 times and that she let him listen to the recording. How can I prove she recorded me?

North Carolina is a one-party state with regard to audio recording. This means as long as someone is a participant in a conversation, they may record it without informing others. If your neighbor recorded a conversation between you and her, she did not violate the law. If there is a lawsuit between you and your husband, you may be able to obtain the recording through a process called discovery.
