You should hire a lawyer and get this relatively minor charge dismissed. By yourself you're going to get a criminal record, and it isn't worth it.

You should get yourself a skilled and experienced defense attorney as quickly as possible, and in the meantime not speak to anyone or make any admissions over the Internet regarding your activities, especially the prosecution or investigators. There are various programs which you may qualify for which might prevent this from getting onto your criminal record and resurfacing for the foreseeable future if not all of your life. This is very serious. Again, get an attorney now and be quiet until you do.

You will get a notice to appear for your arraignment. There may be a diversion program you can enter. Get a drug and alcohol screening evaluation before hand, it will help.
