If I violated probation just due to restitution costs, can I hire an attorney to handle and clear it without me present?

More details to this question:
I was on probation for theft and left the state after I lost my job. If I hire an attorney, can they handle and clear my case without me being present if I paid the restitution? I'm pretty sure a warrant was issued and I just want to clear this up and move on if I can without going back.
It depends on what county you are from and how your judge operates. It is possible but more difficult if a hearing has been scheduled. You would need to ask a lawyer familiar with your courts and judge.
