If I was arrested for misdemeanor theft that's on camera can I avoid jail time

More details to this question:
Video shows coworker with envelope in pocket with me standing behind her & then envelope is gone. Which i have no knowledge of what was in envelope, except what others say. My hands are not seen. I have a previous charge but not for theft. What might happen to mean? Hopefully no jail time & just probation?
