If my friend caught stealing alcohol and drove to my car, they got my license plate, what would happen if I refused to speak to the police?

My friend was caught stealing alcohol, but decided to run with the booze instead of stop and talk to the store employees. He ran to my vehicle and we drove away, but the employees were able to get the license plate of my car. I didn't know that he was stealing booze until after the fact. We are both minors. Now, I am expecting a call from the police, could I likely be arrested. How would the investigation continue?
