If shoplifting charged was dropped, will it still show up?

More details to this question:
I recently was hired by a company who is running a background check on me. I recently paid my lawyer to expunge this record. However, it's a timely process and will not be expunged in time. Will my new employer see this even though it was dismissed?

If it hasn't been expunged, it is very likely. Ask your lawyer to look it up on the UJS website.
