If something is in your possession for 30 days is it yours?

More details to this question:
If my brother in-law needed money and pawned their video game system to us for 7 days and it turns into 2 months but claims pressing charges because they have the box with the serial numbers what are my rights as I never stole it but that what they are telling police...or paid us back? Isn’t there a 30 day rule where if it is in your possession that long it’s yours, what are my rights?

If someone gives you property to borrow, that does not become your property at any point. I'm a little unclear of the details here, though.
