I recently made a boo-boo and accidentally pulled an illegal u-turn in an unfamiliar-to-me area. First time dealing with a situation like this and I am not really sure what to expect. I have to go to court on the 22nd of October. Not sure where to go or who to talk to, I just want to pay the ticket at go home. Do I have to go in front of a judge, do I just go and talk to a court clerk, or.. I don't know. Whatever I have to do, I would love some insight on what to expect and where to go at 8 that morning.

Dont make another boo-boo by going and pleading guilty or no contest- they will both result in your record being hit and rates probably going up.
You want to ask a prosecutor about a PTD or diversion program, if available.
